This past October 2018 my participation at Artspace New Haven, City Wide Open Studios Alternative Space Weekend, at Yale’s West Campus in Orange Ct. gave me an opportunity to engage with the public about my new work. This installation, “What About The Children” is about the issue of Family Separation at our southern border. I was able to engage with and listen to the concerns that the public has regarding this event. Many of these people encouraged me to continue my work and thanked me for doing what I was doing. A few challenged me, which was great, to be able engage, and defend my work. I learned a lot about myself and my process with these conversations. I also realized from this interaction how important it is to search for truth

Pinball Play Field

The Pinball Playfield sculpture is a concept where I would design and fabricate unique playfields as an interactive installation with a sculptural quality to individual objects on the field. I put this rough 3D sketch together at my studio to get a feel for scale. The finished products would have more detail and sizes can vary to fit individual concepts, limited only by ones imagination. That's my Granddaughter chasing the ball. I would love to design and fabricate a sculpture for you.

"Smoke Stacks" (Industrial Archaeology Series)
steel
3'W x 8' H x 25'L (variable)

"Smoke Stacks" is from a series of works based on my investigation of industrial archaeology and my fascination with a linear path.
The intent of this particular installation is to allow the steel cylinders to decay with very little activity towards preservation. The appearance of holes, fallen pieces and piles of rust becoming it's ever changing aesthetic. Over time I hope that whomever assumes the responsibility of caretaker documents it's evolution.

Where Do Clowns Come From?
Painted steel

“Where Do Clowns Come From” is the beginning of “The Alien Clown Project”. This Clown plant (somewhere in Westchester County NY) already has the heads forming for three soon to be mature clowns. By fall five full grown Alien Clowns will roam the streets of New York and Connecticut, their smiles frozen as they observe with wonder the activities of earth creatures.
